‘Time For Tea’ was an afternoon of musical memories from the wick held at the Trowbridge Senior Citizen Club; a music quiz was held where winners received homemade cakes from Pudding Mill River and a Wick Mix CD as prizes.
Through this event I discovered the real passion for music everyone had, especially music from around the Wick and music that had some kind of memory connected to the Wick. This event led to Velda performing live at the Shop at the Hackney Wick Festival as well the Trowbridge Mix CD, which featured in the shop's museum and was also the prize for the quiz on the day of the festival.
