The Ten Ton Press is a tool that can be used both publicly and collectively to produce a variety of products. It is mobile within walking distance and unfolds into an instant workstation with tables and seats.

Seed Bombs were some of the first products to be produced with the press, using locally harvested seeds and soil pressed into plywood moulds. These seed bombs are used and disseminated in a number of ways. They were thrown to plant an avenue of sunflowers in Hackney Wick, East London, and travel the world via the International Village Shop network. Seed bombs were produced across a number of different events and sites to forge local and trans-local links connecting places and people.

The 10ton press is an open resource provided by public works.
